In 2013 Más Arte Más Debate focused on food sovereignty, rural development, areas of rural reserve and seeds. We invited agricultural economists Juan Patricio Molina and Yesid Aranda; and agricultural leaders Cesar Pachón and Yenly Mendez, to debate the notion of building bridges between academia and the social movements of small scale farmers. The debate was moderated by the anthropologist and historian Tania Camila Bonilla.
Más Arte Más Debate (More Art More Debate) is a platform for discussion, questioning and reflection. It is an academic complement to the activities developed in the foundation. It consists of lectures, discussions, speeches and debates among different individuals and institutional entities that address current and globally important issues such as the environment, climate change and human rights.
