This project was carried out by Fernando Arias in Armenia, Quindío (Colombia).

“Because of my father’s profession as a bacteriologist, my childhood was linked to the clinical analysis of the human body. I unconsciously developed an attraction to what we don’t see, the microscopic, the essence of life. This continues to influence my view of the world and is an important source of inspiration for my creative processes.

From these early experiences my work addressed what we don’t see, or we don’t want to see.  This led me to see art as an tool for dialogue about the human condition. “
